Google is testing now the voice chat possibility in search. It's called Search Live and the feature built into AI mode. Talk, listen and explore in real time. It allows users to have a real time, back-and-forth spoken conversation with Google's Search tools. It will be familiar if you have tried Gemini Live or ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode.
To test the feature you should to sign up to AI Mode via Google Labs. It currently supports only US members, in English language and is limited time offer. Once you do this, a new Live icon should appear in the search bar in the Google app for Android and iOS. It's the icon on the left below the search bar.
Once you'll open it in a new window you can start to ask questions and AI bot will response. Search Live works in the background, so you can switch to another apps easily without interruption of the voice conversation.
With another button you can get a text-filled conversation summary. If you want to continue from where you left off previously, you can join the same conversation by visiting your AI mode history. Google plans to integrate more Gemini features, like using camera to ask search questions.
As we remind to you, this feature is working only in test mode for US users and you should to sign up to the experiment. That's an future technics, which will be available for everyone and everywhere soon.
