The new Firefly mobile app will allows users to generate images and video using text descriptions as Adobe Firefly is one of a kind option to do that. The company give this opportunity only for mobile users first. Plus you can turn images into videos.

The Firefly app can now be downloaded from the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.

Many of these tools will require you to spend Firefly generative credits. Your Adobe subscription will determine how many you have each month. For example, a Firefly Standard subscription gives you 2,000 credits for $9.99 per month, while Adobe Creative Cloud Pro gives you 4,000 credits and access to all Adobe products for $69.99 per month for a one-year subscription.

"Our goal with Firefly is to deliver creators the most comprehensive destination on web and mobile to access the best generative models from across the industry, in a single integrated experience from ideation to generation and editing," says Adobe CTO Ely Greenfield.

In April Adobe has also rolled out new video capabilities to the public beta. Users can now remix uploaded clips and generate new footage via Adobe’s Firefly video model or third-party tools like Google’s Veo 3.

New partner models, including Luma AI’s Ray 2, Ideogram 3.0, Runway’s Gen-4, and Pika’s text-to-video generator, are being introduced to Firefly Boards and will be available in other Firefly app features “soon,” according to Adobe.
